NOTICE: WORK ON KALON PAGES
the land with golden waters
"Conquered, we conquer"

This land was once bought by a rich king. The kalon had rode across the Long Sea with the drive to claim this new found land. He used his riches (which was quite a lot, and was basically his singular claim to the throne) to buy this land, and claim it for his own. He rose up his main city, (which you can explore later) and harbored it with many, many lovely things to match his greed. Many people heard of this country, and kalons took the venture across the sea separating the other kingdom and the new one. It was very tedious, and soul breaking to many, yet they still did it. The idea of having a new home away from the modern land gave the kalons hope... something that may not have been as common before.
As they landed on the shore, whether it had been Khoucaea or --, the travelers saw new land. Some may have saw beautiful golds and bronzes, plated to the sides of castles. They would see birds hobbling around, almost spherical due to the folk who spoil them, and they would sometimes even see gold coins tinking in the water. But that would be for the insane men, who lost their minds at sea. The rocking would shake their minds right out of their ears, they'd say! Any man or woman who survived the Long Sea, and had enough wits about them to tell the tale would see something other than gold and fat, old pigeons. The sun would cast the warm colors such as gold and bronze, yet not plated in the forms of its metal. It would paint gorgeous colors on the sides of the carved walls of Khoucaea, and on the yellow grasses that surrounded it. The water could harbor fish, and the boats the kalons sailed on, yet no gold. Maybe the rain would dampen the vague town that a ship would stumble upon, sunken into the hills by mist. Wind would blow away the sailors' ratty, overgroun fur to let them look upon the land they worked so hard for.
And some would cry, and not out of joy. Some were dissapointed by the reality of what they saw... as some were not so luckily greeted by wealthy cities.
