He is the king under the mountain. Resembling the animal version of a mountain goliath, the Kulanageane clan has grown up dealing with the harsh nature of the Mithrac mountain line. He lives in secret with Bugdul, a lower ranking member of the ancient clan, picking fights with the large creatures of the underdark. Him and Bugdul are considered uncivilized to the others living in the more modern towns, but truly they have an amazing culture as well.
Thavagath is was given the title of leader after his father perished in a long war against a foreign crusade lead by a rich king. This, not only ended in the death of Thavagath's father, but also the abandonment of his entire pride. His original group of kalon barbarians had been split during a battle in which his party was dragged out in the open fields just before his home. There, the army was split and pushed apart from each other, inevitably going so far that they had no way to return. Most of the side that Thavagath and Bugdul were pushed to had been slaughtered or captured by the king, only they had escaped with their freedom. Now knowing the dangers of the world, Thavagath crawled back into the dark of the mountain, only with one companion to help guard his royal blood. There, he festered within his blood, boiling for many many long years due to his anger. In the small selection of Mithrac mountains where he still resides, Thavagath demands a trail by combat to the man who took away his life from him, this king that he barely knows any information of.
What lies in store for him, we may not know, but he seems to believe that he will eventually find the way to the true path- justice.
